Team building in St. Gallen
A smartphone treasure hunt in the old town of St. Gallen, from CHF 33/person, for 6 to 3000 participants. Your teams explore the Abbey District while solving riddles.
Nestled between Lake Constance and the Appenzell hills, St. Gallen condenses a thousand years of history into a human-scaled pedestrian center. Around its UNESCO-listed Abbey, cobblestone alleys, half-timbered facades, and the famous bay windows (Erker) create an ideal setting for our team building activities in St. Gallen, built around a smartphone scavenger hunt: every street corner becomes a riddle, every square a meeting point. Within a few meters, your teams move from Gallusplatz, the city's monastic cradle, to the bustling commercial Marktplatz.
As the birthplace of Swiss embroidery and textiles, St. Gallen fosters a passion for precision and attention to detail that is reflected in our programs. The City Explorer transforms an exploration of the Old Town, the Klosterhof, and the Stiftsbibliothek into a collaborative adventure where participants move forward together, negotiate, and solve problems. Whether your team is from the University of Applied Sciences, an SME in Lachen, or a corporate headquarters in the St. Fiden neighborhood, the game adapts to your team size, language, and budget.

Evenings & Seminars
Warmth: giant quiz, escape room, team challenges. Energy remains high.
How does it work
The concept is simple: your employees split into small teams, each equipped with a smartphone. Starting at the Market Square, the app guides them from station to station through the old town of St. Gallen. At each stop, there’s a riddle, a photo challenge, or an observation task for the team to solve together. Choose from three formats: self-guided (you start the game whenever you want), online (remote teams connected), or on-site with a City Games facilitator. The game lasts about 2.5 hours, adjustable to fit your schedule. The tour is available in the language of your choice, from French to German to Korean.
Why St. Gallen
Compact and entirely pedestrianized, the old town of St. Gallen is an ideal playground: everything is done on foot, without transport, within a radius of a few hundred meters around the Abbey. The contrast between the calm of the Klosterhof and the liveliness of the Multergasse naturally paces the route. A university town (HSG) and textile capital, St. Gallen offers a rich heritage setting—painted oriels, UNESCO-listed rococo library, facades on Gallusstrasse—that fuels every riddle. A setting that is both prestigious and intimate, perfect for team building.
For what occasions
Team building in St. Gallen is suitable for all professional occasions: onboarding for new employees, annual company outings, extended team seminars with an activity, project kick-offs, or unifying afterwork events. The format can be adapted for small teams of 6 people up to large events for 3,000 participants spread across multiple waves. It's also ideal for companies in the canton of St. Gallen hosting colleagues from other locations: a fun way to discover the city while fostering cohesion.
Zones & Surroundings
The heart of the game unfolds in the old town: Marktplatz, Gallusplatz, the Abbey district and Klosterhof, and the shopping streets of Multergasse and Spisergasse. For groups wanting to extend their stay, the Drei Weieren (the three ponds perched on the hill) offer a natural setting just minutes from the center, while the shores of Lake Constance and the port of Rorschach are very close. We operate throughout the St. Gallen region and Eastern Switzerland: tell us about your location, and we'll adapt the route.
