Team building in Chur
A smartphone scavenger hunt in the oldest city in Switzerland, from 33 CHF/person, for 6 to 3000 participants.
The capital of Graubünden and considered the oldest city in Switzerland, Coire offers a unique setting for a team-building event: an entirely pedestrian-only old town where you can wander without the noise of cars, among cobblestone alleys, painted facades, and fountains. The starting point, Place Arcas—with its colorful terraces at the foot of the bishop’s courtyard—provides a natural gathering spot before sending the teams off into the labyrinth of streets. In just a few hundred meters, your employees will go from the Obertor—the old fortified gate marking the city’s entrance—to the heights of the Hof and its cathedral, with the mountains of Graubünden as a backdrop.
This compact layout works to your advantage: everything is within walking distance, just a few minutes from the Coire train station, which makes logistics simple even for a group coming from Zurich, St. Gallen, or anywhere in Switzerland. Our facilitators tailor the smartphone scavenger hunt to the pace and language of your teams, from French to English to Graubünden German. Between the lively Welschdörfli, the Roman ruins beneath the old town, and the banks of the nearby source of the Rhine, Coire blends millennia of history with alpine energy for a corporate outing that’s truly out of the ordinary.

Evenings & Seminars
Warmth: giant quiz, escape room, team challenges. Energy remains high.
How Does the Scavenger Hunt at Coire Work?
Your teams receive a smartphone and set off from Arcas Square in small groups of 4 to 6 people. At each stage in the old town, the app unlocks riddles, photo challenges, and missions that encourage you to observe the details: an inscription on the Obertor, a fountain hidden in an alley, the tympanum of the cathedral on the heights of the Hof. Three modes are possible depending on your objective: fully autonomous with the app, supervised by a facilitator who follows your progress live, or entirely managed on-site with a game master. Allow for an average of 2.5 hours, adjustable from 1 to 3 hours, all crowned by a ranking and a friendly debrief on an old town terrace.
Why Choose Coire for Your Company Outing
Coire packs everything you need into a tiny area: a pedestrian-friendly, safe old town with no traffic, where an entire group can spread out without any risk. The terrain is varied and easy to navigate, from Place Arcas to the Obertor, from the Welschdörfli to the heights of the bishop’s palace, offering a wide range of settings without requiring long walks. The city is directly connected by train to Zurich and German-speaking Switzerland, a major advantage for bringing together teams from multiple cantons. And the unique atmosphere of Graubünden—with its Roman heritage, Gothic cathedral, and nearby mountains—gives the event a character found in no other Swiss city.
For what occasions
The scavenger hunt is suitable for most team-building occasions: team-building days, seminars followed by an outdoor activity, annual department outings, onboarding new employees, or as a side event during a conference at Coire. For groups combining business with leisure, the activity can easily be paired with a meal in the old town or a hike up to Brambrüesch. In case of unpredictable weather, our indoor options—such as the Escape Game or Party Quiz—can take over in a venue near the city center, ensuring the day goes ahead as planned. With a capacity ranging from 6 to 3,000 participants, the experience can be scaled to suit both small teams and large corporate events.
Play Areas & Surroundings
The tour focuses on the old town of Coire: Arcas Square, Obertor, the narrow streets of the Episcopal Court (Hof), the cathedral, Postplatz, and the lively Welschdörfli neighborhood, with an optional detour to the banks of the Rhine. Since our events are mobile, we also operate throughout the Graubünden region and beyond: Landquart, Bad Ragaz, Sargans, Domat/Ems, Thusis, not to mention the nearby resorts of Arosa, Lenzerheide, and Davos for seminars at high altitudes. No matter where your event is held in Graubünden, we’ll come to you with the same turnkey solution.
