Team building at Bienne
A smartphone scavenger hunt that brings Bienne to life for your team: starting at 33 CHF per person, for 6 to 3,000 participants, in both of the city’s languages.
Bienne is the only officially bilingual city in Switzerland, and that’s exactly what makes it a unique setting for a team-building event. Our team building activities in Bienne begin as our facilitators kick off your team’s adventure at Place Centrale, then guide them through the medieval alleyways of the Old Town to the shores of Lake Bienne, passing through the watchmaking district along the way. Here, French and German meet at every street corner: a setting that reminds your employees that two cultures can work together toward a common goal.
As the birthplace of Omega, Rolex, and Swatch, Bienne embodies precision and cooperation—two qualities that your scavenger hunt will put to the test in a fun way. Geolocation-based puzzles on smartphones, photo challenges, and team missions transform the Old Town, the Esplanade by the train station, and the lakeshore into a vibrant adventure. No setup, no complicated logistics: your teams receive the game on their phones and get started, while you enjoy a bonding experience, no matter the size of the group.

Evenings & Seminars
Warmth: giant quiz, escape room, team challenges. Energy remains high.
How does your scavenger hunt at Bienne work?
The concept is simple: your teams meet at Place Centrale, receive access to the game on their smartphones, and set out to conquer Bienne. Guided by geolocation, they solve puzzles set in the real city, complete photo challenges, and earn points. There are three options to choose from depending on your needs: self-guided (the team navigates the app on their own), remotely guided, or fully supervised by a City Games facilitator on-site. The tour takes about 2.5 hours, filled with laughter and teamwork. At the finish line, the rankings are revealed and the winning team is celebrated. The entire experience takes place in either French or German, depending on your preference, in keeping with Bienne’s bilingual identity.
Why Bienne Is Ideal for Team Building
Few Swiss cities offer such a wide range of contrasts within such a compact area. In just a few hundred meters, your teams will go from the cobblestone Old Town and its Gothic facades to the contemporary lines of the Pasquart Center and the New Quarter, before emerging onto the lakefront of Bienne with Île Saint-Pierre on the horizon. This diversity makes each puzzle unique and keeps the group energized. Add to that the city’s natural bilingualism, its world-renowned watchmaking heritage, and its proximity to the Taubenloch Gorges, and you have a setting that appeals equally to teams from French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland—a real asset for mixed-language companies.
For what occasions to organize your event
Our scavenger hunt can be tailored to any professional occasion: annual company outing, seminar, new employee orientation, team kick-off, team-building day, or client event. At Bienne, it’s particularly popular with watchmaking and industrial companies in the region, as well as teams visiting for a conference. Whether it’s a small group of 6 people or a large gathering of up to 3,000 participants, the format is tailored to your group size. And because a good team-building event shouldn’t turn into a logistical headache, everything is handled for you—from planning the route to announcing the final rankings.
Play Areas & Surrounding Areas of Bienne
The main route winds through the heart of Bienne: Place Centrale, the Old Town, the Esplanade de la Gare, the Madretsch watchmaking district, and the lakefront. Depending on your preferences, we can extend the game toward Nidau and the lakeshore, or toward the natural scenery of the Taubenloch Gorge for a greener option. Since our activities are mobile, we also operate in neighboring cities: Neuchâtel, Solothurn, Bern, or La Neuveville. You choose the starting point and the atmosphere; we’ll design a tailor-made route for your team.
